What is OCCAA?

OCCAA is part of an extensive national network of Community Action agencies that believes that every family should have an opportunity for financial independence. Across the United States, Community Action Agencies connect millions of children and families with the tools and resources they need to succeed.

OCCAA programs are currently centered around 4 main areas: food security, utility assistance, emergency home repair, and energy efficiency. OCCAA services empower individuals and families to reach a point where they can assist themselves without public funding.
