Channel your creativity for a good cause. Help us create the annual Walk for Warmth Poster. The poster is plastered all over town, on our website, in emails, and social media to help spread the word and get more people participating and donating to Walk for Warmth. This year’s theme is Carnival!

Guidelines
- Poster should be 11 x 17 with a .5 inch safe zone, .25 inch bleeds and 266 dpi.
- Final artwork for poster should be in PDF, however native files should be in Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop.
- Please save final artwork for webpage background as a .png, .jpeg, .gif, or .jpg.
- Be sure to include the date, time and location.
- Include the URL miOttawa.org/w4w, the logos, and the QR Code. Download Files
Submit Your Poster
Higher utility bills impact us all. For those families struggling to make ends meet, some will be forced to make the choice between putting food on the table or heating their homes.
Walk for Warmth, an annual two-mile walk organized by the Ottawa County Community Action Agency, raises money to keep the heat on for financially qualifying families in Ottawa County who have received a utility shut-off notice for gas, electric, water or deliverable fuels like propane. 100% of the funds raised stay in Ottawa County to help your neighbors. The one-time assistance provided by Walk for Warmth funds might be just the help these working families need to settle bills and feel hope for the future.
Our 2024 event raised $16,294 in order to assist Ottawa County families with utility payments. Community Action Agency also plugs these residents into programs that increase the energy efficiency of their homes, reducing utility costs in the future.
Funds are raised through pledges, donations and event sponsors. Even if you cannot contribute financially, please join us and walk to raise awareness of the needs in our community.
