The West Michigan Enforcement Team is established by its participating public agencies pursuant to the Constitution and laws of the State of Michigan, including the Urban Cooperation Act, MCLA 124.501 et seq.; MSA 5.4088(1) et seq., to fight the illegal distribution, sale and use of narcotics and controlled substances in West Michigan, by enforcing narcotics and controlled substances laws.
