Community Mental Health of Ottawa County (CMHOC) is excited to announce it has been awarded a $3 Million Dollar Early Diversion Grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). The five-year grant will support the expansion of crisis stabilization and early diversion services throughout Ottawa County.

Ottawa County residents and families can get help early—before distress becomes an emergency. Ottawa County residents now have access to Mobile Crisis Response 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service provides confidential support at no out-of-pocket cost throughout the county.
Ottawa County voters have sent a clear and powerful message: mental health matters. With nearly 64 percent of voters supporting the Community Mental Health (CMH) millage, our community has chosen to take meaningful action to address serious gaps in funding and services for individuals living with mental illness, developmental disabilities, autism, and substance use disorders.
