There is still time to join the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office for a full-day Church Safety Workshop to help places of worship strengthen readiness and response planning. Church leaders, safety and security teams, and other decision-makers are encouraged to attend.
Citizen Police Academy Taking Applications
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the Citizen Police Academy. The nine-session Citizen Police Academy offers 25 citizens an inside look at law enforcement. Sessions for this year will be held on Thursdays from April 30 through June 25. You will be notified in April if you are accepted.
