Post-Election Audits
Audits are an important part of ensuring every election is conducted accurately, securely and transparently. As part of the process, we’ll review key election records, including:
- In-person and absentee voter lists
- Election Inspector applications
- Election Commission minutes
- Public Accuracy Test ballots
- Ballot applications
We’ll also conduct a full hand count of all ballots and vote totals from the May 5, 2026 Special Election.
Audit selections are made randomly by the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office.
