In September 2014, the Department prepared a 15-year tax capture analysis for the Holland SmartZone. The tax capture analysis provided County Administration, Holland City leaders, and Holland Township leaders with a projection of the amount of tax revenue that each taxing jurisdiction will lose over 15 years once the SmartZone is created. The analysis also provided a summary of the amount of tax revenue that will be captured over 15 years.
