The Walk a Mile in My Shoes Rally, organized annually by the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan (CMHA), brings together advocates—including individuals with mental health, developmental disability, and substance use experiences—from across Michigan on the State Capitol lawn to raise awareness about behavioral health needs. The rally aims to spotlight the importance of increased funding, challenge stigma, and reinforce the presence of behavioral health issues in legislative and policy conversations.
