About Us
The mission of the Ottawa County Public Defender is to provide exceptional legal representation to indigent adults who are charged with crimes in Ottawa County, thereby fulfilling the promise made in the 6th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and guaranteed by the United States Supreme Court in Gideon v. Wainwright, 372 U.S. 335 (1963).
