Provide the court with at least 2 stamped envelopes. Address one envelope to yourself and one to each tenant. If you do not provide stamped envelopes, the court will charge you an additional $1.00 per party for the cost of mailing. The court will mail your papers and forward them to a process server to complete service. You will be responsible for paying the service fee.

Nonpayment of Rent
(Tenant)- You have received a complaint for nonpayment of rent; and/or
- You want to ask the court to set aside a default judgment
Use Answer, Nonpayment of Rent if you get a Complaint, Nonpayment of Rent and you want to file a response to the statements made in the complaint. There is no fee to file an answer.
Use Motion to Set Aside Default Possession Judgment and/or Motion to Set Aside Default Money Judgment if you want to ask the court to set aside a default judgment. There is a $20 filing fee for these motions.

Recover Possession
(Landlord)- You want to recover possession of real property; and
- The tenant has violated a lease term that the lease says will lead to eviction; or
- The tenant doesn’t have a written lease; or
- The tenant didn’t move when the lease ended.
