Partnerships for Youth Education
Working with the next generation of water consumers
Partnerships are being created with local educators to help introduce supplemental materials related to the County's groundwater challenges into existing K-12 curriculum. The supplemental materials will feature components of regional subsurface geology and impacts of consumptive water use, in addition to including take-home conservation strategies.
Hands-on, experiential learning exercises are also being developed in collaboration with other community partners.
