Medical Reserve Corps
The mission of Citizen Corps is to harness the power of every individual through education, training, and volunteer service to make communities safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to the threats of terrorism, crime, public health issues, and disasters of all kinds.
The Medical Reserve Corps is national volunteer program comprised of both medically licensed and lay volunteers who commit their time and talent to promoting the health and well-being of their local communities.
The Ottawa County Medical Reserve Corps is a team of volunteers visibly engaged in partnership with our local communities to strengthen public health, reduce vulnerability, build resilience, and improve preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities for and with the citizens of Ottawa County, Michigan. They operate under the oversight of Ottawa County Emergency Management and are part of the Citizen Corps group of volunteers.
