Initial Contact with OCCAA: Residents would begin by contacting OCCAA to inquire about eligibility for assistance with furnace or water heater replacements. OCCAA has specific requirements and criteria that residents must meet to qualify for assistance. This initial contact is best completed by email or phone.
Eligibility and Documentation: OCCAA would conduct an assessment to determine the resident's eligibility for assistance. This assessment includes verifying the resident's income level, household size, and any other factors that could impact eligibility. Residents will also need to provide documentation to support their application, such as proof of income, residency, and other household information.
