Food Programs
Volunteers are needed on the monthly and quarterly distributions days to assist with recording and documenting eligibility information, assist with loading boxes into cars, and packaging food for distribution. Opportunities can include things like packing food boxes on an assembly line, home delivery of boxes, handing out boxes directly to seniors at distributions, riding along on deliveries, or light office work. Note - if working directly with seniors, a short civil rights training will be required annually.
