Financial Scams & Frauds Affecting the Citizens of Ottawa County

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office will be hosting an informative presentation about current financial scams and fraudulent activities. Due to recent incidents locally and abroad, the Sheriff's Office will provide education, resources, and insight how to identify scams impacting adults and seniors. Topics that will be explored during the presentation include technology scams, social media, romance scams, government imposters, and grandchild scams. The lessons learned during this event will better equip Ottawa County citizens to avoid becoming a victim of fraud related crimes.
