Reduce the effects of financial hardships by promoting self-sufficiency and empowering individuals and families to achieve economic independence
What is OCCAA?
OCCAA is part of a national network of Community Action Agencies dedicated to empowering families to achieve financial independence by providing resources and support. Across the United States, Community Action Agencies connect millions of individuals, children, and families with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
OCCAA programs are currently centered around four main areas: food security, utility assistance, home repair, and energy efficiency. OCCAA services empower individuals and families to reach a point where they can assist themselves without public funding.
